If ever these words by Picasso were true – “The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place: from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web”, so he said in 1946 -, they certainly apply to what you can witness and feel in a villa a few kilometers from Madrid, where nature, art and true flavours are a total experience.

Madrid, yes, it’s an exciting city, but there’s a whole world to discover around this cosmopolis, in the freshest and most natural places of the Meseta Central, the vast plain over which it presides. And it’s to one of its little secrets that we want to take you.

In a mansion full of history and warm family memories, there is a painter who treats everyone who visits her like a friend. It’s here that she shares her life and takes us to the studio where the magic happens: large-scale paintings born out of a relationship with the basic things in the world, as Picasso put it.

Spend a day with her. The intimacy of an exclusive “meet the owner” moment takes on a whole new concept here. The artist won’t just reveal the secrets of her trade. She’ll invite you to join her at the table, continue the conversation over great food and Spanish wines, and what’s more, challenge you to paint with her, and then explore the estate on a horseback ride.

Picasso would probably accept the invitation.
