There’s no denying it: in recent decades, Lisbon has become one of the most important centers of contemporary art in Europe. Galleries are multiplying, new museums are opening, and artists are flocking from all corners of the continent. All this activity can be overwhelming for art lovers, but there is a private way to experience it.

What we propose is a special, exclusive session in one of the city’s most important galleries (and no, we’re not going to say which one). This is not just a simple visit. It’s an opportunity to literally watch an exhibition being set up by an artist and the gallery owner, without the presence of curious onlookers. Better still: all this while your dinner is being cooked.

Yes. As the exhibition is unfolding, a Michelin-starred chef prepares the meal, served inside the gallery. Everything comes, of course, from an open kitchen, where you can exchange ideas with the master and watch the dishes being finished.

Could there be a more perfect setting for discussing and choosing art – the works in the exhibition will be for sale –, and for savoring Lisbon? Probably not.
